White House Tries to Distance Itself From Found Cocaine

According to a report, Karine Jean-Pierre, the White House press secretary, reiterated on Wednesday that the cocaine found in the West Wing over the weekend was discovered while the Bidens were gone.

The Secret Service verified on Wednesday that the white powder discovered in the West Wing was indeed cocaine.

The president and the first lady were at Camp David when the cocaine was found, according to the press secretary. The Bidens’ son Hunter, a person with a history of cocaine use, also attended the president’s weekend retreat. There is no proof that the president’s son was responsible for the material, although he was present at the White House on Friday.

According to a report, bookies are cashing in on the weekend’s cocaine discovery at the White House by making Hunter Biden the heavy betting favorite to be the owner of it.

BetOnline.ag, an offshore bookmaker, lists Hunter Biden as the owner with +170 odds, making him the book’s most probable perpetrator out of a group of suspects that looks to include joke offenders.

Sportsbetting.ag, like BetOnline.ag, offers betting odds on the same suspects, with Hunter Biden as the heavy favorite. Hunter watched the Fourth of July fireworks in Washington, D.C., from the White House.

Bovada, a bookmaker in Costa Rica, is a little more forgiving to Hunter. They have Tour Group Guest as their -400 favorite, Hunter Biden at +200, then Janitorial Staff at +1000, and Secret Service Special Agent at +2000.

The movie character Tony Montana from the film “Scarface” is listed at +50000 odds on Bovada, which is on par with the other sites. The chances for President Trump are +5000.

Reports show Republican presidential candidates in 2024 have used it as fodder for jokes and attacks.  Former President Trump criticized the revelation by targeting the Bidens.

In a post on Truth Social, Trump questioned whether or not anybody thought that the cocaine discovered in the West Wing, near the White House Oval Office, was intended for anyone other than Hunter and Joe Biden.  He then suggested the fake news would soon start reporting that it was a small quantity and that the substance wasn’t cocaine but simply regular crushed-up aspirin, and the story would fade away.
