Democrats’ Gen Z Summit Flops—Kirk Calls Out “Woke” Weakness
Charlie Kirk, President of Turning Point USA, has seen enough of the Democrats’ attempt to win over young voters. After watching the so-called “Fight for Our Future Summit” hosted by Voters of Tomorrow, Kirk didn’t hold back on Fox & Friends Weekend, questioning why the event couldn’t even muster a single American flag on stage. Instead of patriotic symbols or genuine enthusiasm, Kirk saw what he described as a “forever grievance” echo chamber, where leftist organizers brought in progressive activists like David Hogg—hardly the poster child for American masculinity or authenticity. While the left paraded their latest batch of activists, Kirk and millions of frustrated conservatives watched the hollow display and couldn’t help but laugh at how out of touch the Democratic Party’s youth outreach has become.

Contrast this with the energy at TPUSA’s Student Action Summit in Tampa, attended by thousands of fired-up young conservatives waving flags and hearing from speakers who actually believe in the country’s founding values. Kirk’s rallying cry was simple: the left has lost touch with what makes America great, and young people—especially young men—are starting to see through the charade. The lack of patriotism and the relentless push for grievance-based politics isn’t just cringeworthy, it’s driving young voters away from the Democratic Party.
Polling Shows Young Men Fleeing the Left—A Generational Realignment?
New Pew Research Center data has thrown the left into a panic and sent conservative strategists into celebration mode. According to the latest poll, 52% of men aged 18 to 29 now identify as Republicans, while only 34% lean Democrat. That’s not a blip—it’s a seismic shift and a direct result of the Democrats’ obsession with “woke” identity politics, COVID mandates, and an endless parade of progressive causes over common sense. Kirk told Fox viewers, “There’s finally a pushback and a rebellion against everything that has happened culturally over the last five years… you can see a big split amongst Generation Z, and I think this is a very important point.”
Democratic strategist Julian Epstein didn’t sugarcoat the problem, admitting that the party’s messaging is a mess. He called out the Democrats for being the “forever grievance, forever obstructionist party,” adding that most voters—especially the young—just don’t like “woke” politics or far-left economic schemes. This isn’t just a messaging problem; it’s a full-blown crisis for a party that once thought it had young voters locked up for a generation.
