$30M Suit Against Tiger Woods Dropped By Ex-Girlfriend

Tiger Woods’ ex-girlfriend has dropped her lawsuit against him. Erica Herman filed a $30 million suit against the golf legend last October, saying he tricked her out of her home and therefore violated the Landlord Tenant Act. Herman alleged that Woods told her they were going on vacation but then locked her out of his house on Jupiter Island, Florida. She also alleged harassment because the couple started dating when she was an employee, but this was likewise abandoned.

Finally, Herman sought the nullification of a non-disclosure agreement the couple agreed on in 2017, but a judge threw the case out. She is currently appealing that decision.

The couple initially met in 2014 when she worked at his restaurant on Jupiter Island. They began dating three years later and signed a non-disclosure agreement. They split up in the fall of 2022 when she claimed they had an oral agreement permitting her to remain in his Florida mansion for five years. When he threw her out, she filed the lawsuit.

The golf star has a long and interesting romantic history but has only married once. Woods met his wife, Elin Nordegren when they were introduced by Swedish golfer Jesper Parnevik in 2001. Nordegren worked as a nanny for Parnevik at the time. The couple became engaged within two years and married in Barbados in 2004. They had two children together but divorced in 2010 when he admitted he had cheated on his wife with several women.

One of his mistresses was Rachel Uchitel, who was the first pursued by the press as news of the golfer’s infidelity scandal broke. His next relationship was with professional skier Lindsay Vonn, which lasted three years.

Next was stylist Kristen Smith, whom he met in 2016 and split from in 2018. He also asked her to sign a non-disclosure agreement to prevent her from speaking to the press about the reasons for the breakup. It is believed he sought to avoid publicity around his continuing infidelity.
