IDF Operations End In Success With 100+ Hamas Fighters Down

According to Israeli media, the Israeli Defense Forces (IDF) has said that they eliminated more than 100 Hamas militants in a residential complex, marking the end of their operations there.

Israeli commando teams began their attack on the multi-story Hamad apartment complex in Khan Yunis early this month, according to Emanuel Fabian, a military journalist who tweeted about it.

The IDF claims that they found a stash of weapons in a facility used by the second-in-command of a Hamas brigade in Khan Younis. Following the operation, the IDF said that over a hundred militants were killed and that many Hamas structures were destroyed, including those that had been booby-trapped.

Along with the footage of the raid, Fabian also sent a snapshot of the military equipment that the IDF uncovered inside the facility. As they went door-to-door, footage showed Israeli Defense Forces personnel and tanks navigating an urban setting. Israeli soldiers were able to identify and neutralize four assailants in a single building, as seen in one video.

On March 6, the Israeli Defense Forces announced that 250 local Islamic Jihad and Hamas militants had surrendered.  Israeli commandos, backed by naval forces and Shin Bet, apprehended the terrorists in the Hamad district of southern Khan Yunis, which is famous for its tall buildings.

The Israeli Defense Forces (IDF) apprehended three high-profile individuals, including the leader of a Hamas sniper team and two other commanders, according to a tweet by Emanuel Fabian, a military journalist for the Times of Israel. According to the Israel Defense Forces (IDF), the facilities that Fabian mentioned also included explosives, weapons, and military equipment, including dive gear.

The Israeli Defense Forces have made the capture of Khan Yunis a top priority. The city is believed by many to be the site of the terrorist assault on October 7th’s training grounds and by others to be the hiding place of Yahya Sinwar, the commander of Hamas in the Gaza Strip, inside its extensive network of subterranean tunnels.

According to a report, the Israeli Defense Forces (IDF) estimated that since the conflict started last October, around 13,000 terrorist combatants have been killed or wounded in Gaza.
