Assistant Chief Thomas Buckley of the Foxborough Fire Department reported that emergency personnel were dispatched to the stadium on Saturday night.
Buckley said they went to the parking lot, evaluated her, and determined she needed to go to the hospital. The woman felt like she was in labor. She was put in an ambulance.
According to a second report from the Foxborough Fire Department, the expectant mother called 911 at 11:30 p.m. on Saturday due to contractions.
Swift performed three shows over the weekend, all in wet and gloomy New England, as part of her current “The Eras Tour.”
According to the concert tracking website Setlist.fm, Swift completed her 45-song set at approximately 11:25 p.m.
Video shot to TikTok by user Vanessa Chatterley on May 20 shows her exiting night two of “The Eras Tour” at Gillette Stadium in Foxborough as a woman gives birth in the parking lot.
At around 2:00 a.m., Chatterley remarked, “Someone is giving birth over there,” the camera panned to reveal a woman giving birth in the back of an ambulance.
The Swift tour made additional headlines a week ago in Philadelphia at Lincoln Financial Field due to an incident off-stage during one of the shows.
Swift could be heard ranting at an unidentified person during the performance of her hit song “Bad Blood.”
Swift becomes increasingly irritated as the song rises to the chorus, eventually shouting, “Hey! Stop!”
After yelling “Stop” for the last time, the 12-time Grammy winner confidently crossed the stage to resume her performance. Even though a video of the heated exchange became viral on social media, she never commented on what happened.
Swift’s legions of defenders quickly clarified that the singer was just ranting at the security agent because she was concerned for their safety.
Kelly Kelly, a Maryland native, identified herself as the Swift fan Swift was defending in the video.
