(PresidentialWire.com)- Tucker Carlson, the most-watched man in television news, responded to the news that two Fox News contributors had resigned from their minor positions within the channel over his coverage of the plot by the Democrats to make the January 6 riot appear as a “violent insurrection.”
Stephen Hayes and Jonah Goldberg, two Republicans who reflect the neo-con wing of the party, resigned from their regular spots on Bret Baier’s “Special Report” show over Fox News’ coverage of the January 6 protest and the efforts by the Democrats to smear and hurt Republicans with it.
In interviews with left-wing outlets NPR and the New York Times, both Goldberg and Hayes said that they had stuck with Fox because they had been reassured that the more “propagandistic” coverage of the news would recede when Trump left office but left their roles now that they believe it hasn’t happened.
Propagandistic coverage? And they’re speaking to the New York Times? Have they no grip on reality at all?
It comes after Fox Nation, the sister channel of Fox News that streams content online, aired Tucker Carlson’s new “Patriot Purge,” a three-part series that explores the Capitol riot, and the political motivations behind the Democrats who are trying to paint it as a terror attack and a tragedy on par with the 9/11 attack.
Hayes and Goldberg were so mad about it, as they buy the false narrative that the Capitol riot was a terrorist incident and a violent insurrection, that they claimed it was a sign that “people have made peace with this direction of things.”
Well, they’d be right about that. People aren’t happy with their brand of “conservativism” anymore.
When Tucker found out about all of this, he shared a graphic on Twitter that described the film as the “documentary series that drove Jonah Goldberg to an impotent rage.”
