Trump Is “All For Masks”…Just Not Mandatory

VIDEO — Trump Fights Back in Fiery CPAC Speech

(PresidentialWire.com)- President Donald Trump has been repeatedly smeared by the left-wing press as opposing the wearing of masks, but that’s never been true. While President Trump chooses not to wear a mask, many members of his administration have worn them during official events, and the president has not told Americans not to wear them.

Recent comments on the Fox Business Network confirm that Democrats who pushes this claim were lying, when Trump said he supports the wearing of masks as long as it’s not mandatory. He also joked about his appearance wearing a mask, suggesting it’s one of the reasons he chooses not to wear one.

The comments came during a wider interview that was aired on Wednesday, in which he talked about a wide range of issues that will affect the November election and the lives of Americans every day.

Blake Burman asked the president about the wearing of masks, and reports that suggest people can get back to work sooner if they wear them.

“Well, I don’t know if you need ‘mandatory,’ the president said. “Because you have many places in the country where people stay very long distance. You talk about social distancing. But I’m all for masks. I think masks are good. I would wear – if I were in a group of people and I was close…”

Burman interrupted the president, asking, “You would wear one?” to which the president responded, “Oh, I would, oh I have.”

“I mean, people have seen me wearing one,” he said. “If I’m in a group of people where we’re not, you know, ten feet away but usually I’m not in that position and everyone’s tested because I’m the president,” he said. “They get tested before they see me. But if I were in a tight situation with people, I would absolutely.”

And there you have it.

Why is it that the media has never considered the fact that the president is tested regularly and that everybody who comes into contact with him is tested too. Isn’t that even more effective than a mask?

If the president is tested regularly, and the purpose of the mask is to reduce the spread of the virus from people who have the virus asymptomatically, then what’s the point in the president wearing one anyway?
