(PresidentialWire.Com)- President Donald Trump hit back at House Speaker Nancy Pelosi on Tuesday, when he tweeted his opposition to a “ballot harvesting” plot being advanced by the Democrats. In the run-up to November presidential election, the Democrats are doing all they can to rig the system and make it easier to beat the president.
Ballot harvesting is a controversial system already used in California that allows party officials to submit an unlimited quantity of mail ballots on behalf of other people. It is similar to a system used in the United Kingdom, overwhelmingly by the socialist Labour Party, to encourage minority voters in working-class communities to vote for them.

The practise is already banned in most states because of its association with the fraudulent “ballot stuffing” process that sees party representatives deliver huge piles of ballots to official counts. Nancy Pelosi doesn’t seem to agree, however, and appears perfectly willing to risk the credibility of election results.
After the Democrats rejected the third phase of the coronavirus economic relief bill, Nancy Pelosi and her Congressional colleagues put forward alternative legislation that included measures to allow ballot harvesting on a national basis. However, the Democrats were forced to drop the proposed legislation, and their insane policy suggestions, when it became evident the Republicans favored the bipartisan legislation instead.
Under the system, anyone in California can deliver a mail-in ballot to a polling station on behalf of somebody else. That means party representatives can fill in ballots themselves, promising voters to do it how they ask, while having nobody to verify the ballot was filled in correctly. In 2018, Democrats delivered hundreds of thousands of these ballots to polling stations in 2018, which helped them flip seven seats from Red to Blue.
Pelosi might have dropped the proposals once, but she won’t necessarily do it again. The Democrats, much like the British Labour Party, see an opportunity to drive turnout by voting on behalf of others.
