(PresidentialWire.com) – We all know that there is no better Twitter communicator than President Donald Trump, so it should come as no surprise to anybody to learn he managed to destroy the Biden-Bernie debate in a single tweet.
On Sunday, the two Democratic presidential hopefuls went head to head…even though everybody already knows that Joe Biden is a shoo-in for the role. We all know how hard the Democratic National Committee worked to ensure the other candidates dropped out and endorsed Biden!
The debate was held without any audience, owing to the spread of the coronavirus, which made the entire thing quite bizarre for viewers. There was nobody there to heckle or boo when one said something egregious – not that it mattered. At this point, Biden could faint on stage and nobody would care because at least he isn’t Bernie Sanders!
In a tweet that same night, the president summed up the CNN debate in a single expertly-written tweet and followed up with several retweets that reinforced his view.
The president described it as a “VERY boring debate” (he’s not wrong about that!) and explained how Joe Biden even LIED when he claimed the current administration intends to cut social security and Medicare.
“That’s what they ALL said 4 years ago, and nothing happened, in fact, I saved Social Security and Medicare,” Trump tweeted.

Following the slam-dunk tweet, the president retweeted a number of other tweets that showed clips of the debate and how terribly the two Democratic candidates performed.
Retweeting a video posted by the national press secretary for the Trump campaign, Kayleigh McEnany, President Trump said, “Sleepy Joe is SO CONFUSED.” The video contained in the Tweet showed Biden referring to the coronavirus as “SARS” and then “swine flu.”
A tweet reposted by the president from his campaign’s communications director Tim Murtaugh said, “Joe Biden would set an extreme and dangerous course on illegal immigration.”
“Wouldn’t deport anyone except convicted felons. Says local police should not cooperate with ICE. In Biden’s America, EVERY city is a sanctuary city,” the tweet continued.
Are you getting it yet? The president is taking on the two candidates easily because both of them are so extreme. He has 2020 in the bag.
