Team Harris is in panic mode after former President Donald Trump confirmed that he will not participate in a THIRD televised debate with Vice President Kamala Harris.
Harris might have only debated once, but Trump did it twice already.
At a glance:
- Donald Trump has ruled out a second debate with Kamala Harris, citing that voting has already begun and that Harris has aligned her policies with Joe Biden.
- Despite media outlets’ final attempts to organize a debate, Trump insists there’s no need for a rematch.
- Trump claims to be leading in all swing states, though polling suggests a tight race in battleground states.
Donald Trump has officially shut down the possibility of a second debate with Vice President Kamala Harris, rejecting final offers from CNN and Fox News to schedule another head-to-head before Election Day. Writing on Truth Social, Trump stated, “There will be no rematch!” and argued that Harris’s policies mirror those of President Joe Biden, leaving nothing to debate. He also pointed out that with voting already underway, it is too late in the process for another debate.
Trump’s decision comes after CNN extended an invitation to both candidates for a debate on October 23, and Fox News offered to host one on October 24 or 27. Harris had already accepted CNN’s invitation and has advocated for more debates, stressing that voters deserve additional opportunities to hear from the candidates.

While Trump claims he won the September 10 debate with Harris, polling and feedback, even from some within the Republican Party, suggest a different story. Additionally, Trump cited Ohio Senator JD Vance’s performance in the vice presidential debate with Minnesota Governor Tim Walz as further reasoning for declining another debate. Trump continues to assert that he is leading in all key swing states, though current polling shows a much tighter race in battleground states like Pennsylvania, Michigan, and Wisconsin.
The debate drama reflects the high stakes of the 2024 election, with both candidates vying for the attention of undecided voters in the final weeks of the campaign. Harris’s campaign remains eager for another face-off, but with Trump’s latest statement, it seems increasingly unlikely that a second debate will occur before Election Day.
Kamala is losing…and she knows it!
