Trump Announces “Wild” Protest Will Occur On January 6th

(PresidentialWire.com)- A “wild” protest is on the horizon in Washington, D.C.

President Donald Trump made reference to that event last week. It will be held on January 6, the same day that Congress is planning to meet to accept the presidential election results. That’s the last step in the process before Joe Biden is officially named the president-elect.

The president has said that he will continue to fight against the results, even after the Electoral College voted and certified the results recently. On Saturday, Trump said on the “Fox & Friends” morning show:

“No, it’s not over. We keep going and we’re going to continue to go forward. We have numerous local cases.

“We’re going to speed it up as much as we can, but you can only go so fast. They give us very little time. But we caught them, as you know, as fraudulent, dropping ballots, doing so many things, nobody can even believe it.”

The Electoral College met and voted last week. It voted in favor of the Democrat Biden. The last step in the process is for Congress to certify those results. If that were to happen on January 6, Biden would become America’s 46th president after he was inaugurated two weeks after that.

Saturday morning, Trump took to Twitter to announce a major protest that will take place on the same day that Congress is supposed to certify the presidential election results. He wrote:

“Peter Navarro releases 36-page report alleging election fraud ‘more than sufficient’ to swing victory to Trump. A great report by Peter. Statistically impossible to have lost the 2020 Election. Big protest in D.C. on January 6th. Be there, will be wild!”

Navarro’s report reads, in part:

“The Trump-Pence ticket had substantial and seemingly insurmountable leads in Georgia, Pennsylvania, Michigan and Wisconsin. If these leads held, these four key battleground states would propel President Trump to a decisive 294 to 244 victory in the Electoral College.

“From the findings of this report, it is possible to infer what may well have been a coordinated strategy to effectively stack the election deck against the Trump-Pence ticket. Indeed, the observed patterns of election irregularities are so consistent across the six battleground states that they suggest a coordinated strategy to, if not steal the election outright, strategically game the election process in such a way as to ‘stuff the ballot box’ and unfairly tilt the playing field in favor of the Biden-Harris ticket.”

Trump didn’t go into more details about what the “wild” protest would include. He has continued to pound home the point that the election isn’t over quite yet. The president posted a number of tweets to this fact over the weekend.

One replied to a New York Post Opinion piece that said “Stephen Colbert’s Joe Biden interview a real joke.” Trump tweeted that, while adding:

“He didn’t win the Election. He lost all 6 Swing States, by a lot. They then dumped hundreds of thousands of votes in each one, and got caught. Now Republican politicians have to fight so that their great victory is not stolen. Don’t be weak fools!”
