(PresidentialWire.com)- After taking the knee for Black Lives Matter rioters in 2020, Canadian Prime Minister Justin Trudeau and his government are now comparing donations made to the Freedom Convoy trucker protest in Canada to terror funding.
A high-ranking member of the Trudeau government recently told CTV that donors to the Freedom Convoy were effectively funding terrorism and that they should now fear retribution from Canadian authorities.
David Lametti, the Canadian Justice Minister, claimed that donors may be impacted by the Trudeau Administration’s recent invocation of the Emergencies Act. The legislation, which was previously known as the War Measures Act, gives the Canadian government sweeping powers including the ability to seize private property and bank accounts.
We’re seeing it happen, too, with police officers taking to the streets, under orders from the Trudeau administration to bring the protests to an end.
So Trudeau is fine with extreme, racist rioters burning down cities in 2020…but peaceful protesters who oppose his radical vaccine mandates are going too far?
“Well, I think if you are a member of a pro-Trump movement who’s donating hundreds of thousands of dollars and millions of dollars to this kind of thing, they oughta be worried,” Lametti said in the interview, which you can view below.
