Tourist Posing Next to King’s Guard Horse Faints After Being Bitten

After getting nipped on the arm by a restless King Guardsman horse, a visitor who was eager to get a photo with the King’s Guard passed out.

Photos shot in the heart of London today show crowds of curious onlookers encircling a member of the King’s Guard and his horse outside the Household Cavalry Museum, all in search of a photo op.

The horse seems agitated by the large number of people surrounding it; when this happens, the horse will occasionally tilt its head and nibble at onlookers as a warning.

As she dashes over, a lady in a Pink Floyd t-shirt and a black baseball cap approaches the horse and takes a position beside it under the sign that warns that horses have the potential to hurt people.

She takes a bite to the arm from the startled animal. The tourist let out a shriek and dashed towards her companions.

While everyone looks at her wound, one man treats the bite mark with a cotton ball.

However, maybe it was the sight of blood, but she seemed to pass out and collapse to the ground.

Another video shows the woman’s companions fanning her as she lays down against a fence.

Tourists keep milling around the King’s Guard and his horse, with some attempting to pat the frightened animal as police respond to the wounded woman.

Tragic encounters between the public and the King’s Guards persist even if they are on duty.

Tourists enthusiastically approach, frequently putting themselves in harm’s way despite the apparent warning signs about the horses biting or kicking.

An unconvinced onlooker last month was sent careening into the sidewalk outside Buckingham Palace after what seemed to be a headbutt from a King’s Guard horse.

In the footage, a woman with curly hair posed for pictures beside a black horse, grinning widely as the animal nudged her to the ground.

A visitor in May got bit by a King’s Guard horse when she reached out to touch the animal for a picture.
