Tom Cotton Demands Resignation Of DOJ For Ignoring Violence Wave Against Pro-Life Groups

( The Biden administration’s Justice Department’s inaction on more than 50 attacks on pro-life pregnancy centers and churches in recent weeks, allegedly carried out by Jane’s Revenge, according to Sen. Tom Cotton, R-Arkansas, has prompted him to call for U.S. Attorney General Merrick Garland to step down.

Cotton, the leading member of the Intelligence Committee, the Armed Services Committee, and the subcommittee on criminal justice and counterterrorism, requested that the DOJ look into Jane’s Revenge as a “domestic terrorist organization” in a letter to Garland.

Cotton wrote that attacks are being made against places of worship and pro-life pregnancy facilities. And in the last several weeks, more than 50 attacks against churches, pro-life pregnancy clinics, and other pro-life organizations have been documented by the Family Research Council. Many of these incidents, including firebombings and obscene acts of vandalism, have been claimed by a left-wing extremist organization named “Jane’s Revenge.”

According to Cotton, the same group has now released a statement declaring open season on all so-called ‘anti-choice’ organizations and asks for terrorist attacks against these groups by anyone who desires to “paint, burn, cut, or jam.”

Cotton asked what steps the Department of Justice was taking to defend Americans against these brutal assaults? Cotton said that, at the very least, “Jane’s Revenge” should be investigated as a domestic terrorist group and file federal charges against the offenders, if necessary.

Cotton said if Garland was unwilling to defend Americans from these attacks, he should step down.

Cotton noted that the St. John XXIII Catholic Church in Ft. Collins, Colorado, had its windows broken on May 7 and was damaged with the words “My Body My Choice” and an anarchist symbol. It threatened that “if abortions aren’t safe, then you aren’t either,”

The extensive examples of terror incidents were included in Cotton’s letter, but Garland did nothing. The law means nothing to him. What the left does is righteous activism. Soccer moms complaining at school boards that they don’t want their children taught about explicit sex acts between homosexuals are the real terrorists.
