Shocker: Bill Cosby Representative DEFENDS Harvey Weinstein

(PresidentialWire.com) – In a move that people may find distasteful more than shocking, a representative for convicted sex offender Bill Cosby has defended Hollywood rapist Harvey Weinstein and slammed his court case as unfair.

In a statement published to Instagram, Andrew Wyatt said it was a “very sad day in the American Judicial System.”

The statement read, “This is not shocking because these jurors were not sequestered, which gave them access to media coverage and the sentiments of public opinion. There’s no way you would have anyone believe that Mr Weinstein was going to receive a fair and impartial trial.”

“Also, this judge showed that he wanted a conviction by sending the jurors back to deliberate after they were hung on many of the counts.”

Official Statement From Andrew Wyatt Regarding The Verdict Of Harvey Weinstein: This is not shocking because these jurors were not sequestered, which gave them access to media coverage and the sentiments of public opinion. There’s no way you would have anyone believe that Mr. Weinstein was going to receive a fair and impartial trial. Also, this judge showed that he wanted a conviction by sending the jurors back to deliberate, after they were hung on many of the counts. Here’s the question that should haunt all Americans, especially wealthy and famous men…Where do we go in this country to find fairness and impartiality in the judicial system; and where do we go in this country to find Due Process? Lastly, if the #metoo movement isn’t just about Becky [White women], I would challenge #metoo and ask them to go back 400+ years and tarnish the names of those oppressors that raped slaves. This is a very sad day in the American Judicial System. #FreeBillCosby #FarFromFinished #DueProcess #JusticeReform

Wyatt questioned whether Weinstein had been granted due process and whether the trial was at all fair, suggesting that the had been treated differently because he is a wealthy celebrity.

“Here’s the question that should haunt all Americans, especially wealthy and famous men… Where do we go in this country to find fairness and impartiality in the judicial system; and where do we go in this country to find Due Process?” he asked.

Interestingly, Wyatt failed to recognize the fact that the jurors, which he believed were unfairly influenced, actually found Weinstein to be innocent of three charges made against him.

Bizarrely, the statement even made reference to the slave trade, some 400 years ago.

“Lastly, if #metoo movement isn’t just about Becky [White women], I would challenge #metoo and ask them to go back 400+ years and tarnish the names of those oppressors that raped slaves.”

Um…what?

Use of the term “Becky,” a name considered generic or common by black supremacist activists, is common in the derision of white people. It is a tactic employed by far-left social justice warriors and Black Lives Matter activists who aim to sew racial division.

The end of the statement suggested that his intentions may not have been to defend “Due Process,” but instead to draw attention to Bill Cosby’s claim of innocence. Four hashtags accompanied the statement, including “#FreeBillCosby” and “FarFromFinished.”

No, you’re not the only one who doesn’t understand what Wyatt is trying to achieve here.
