(PresidentialWire.com)- Republicans are reportedly planning a “huge push” to make far-left Democratic House Speaker Nancy Pelosi pay the same fine as Republican congressmen for allegedly ignoring the rules she forced through congress regarding screening. Pelosi is accused of having avoided the metal detectors that were placed outside the House chambers in January, which has already forced two Republican representatives to pay $5,000 fines.
Fox News revealed how members of the House GOP saw Speaker Pelosi using a different entrance to the House of Representatives, effectively allowing her to skirt the new security measures she insisted be put in place after the January 6 Capitol Hill riot.
Pelosi and Congressional Democrats insisted that the new metal detectors were required, citing their own incorrect assertions that sitting Republican legislators “incited an insurrection” on January 6.
Describing how Pelosi skirted her own rules, Republican Representative Rodney Davis said, “She opened the session on the floor, she came through what is known as the Speakers’ lobby.”
“We are all told, one Republican was fined for doing this just yesterday, that you cannot walk through those entrances unless you are disabled,” he added.
What makes Speaker Pelosi so special?
Under the new rules introduced by the Democrats, the Sergeant-at-Arms has the authority to fine legislators $5,000 for their first offense and $10,000 if they do it a second time. Failing to walk through a metal detector is considered a breach of the rules.
USA Today reported last Wednesday that the metal detectors “were put at the House Chamber’s entrance in the wake of the mob that stormed the Capitol, incited by former President Donald Trump.”
The inaccurate reporting mirrored the false claims pushed by House Speaker Nancy Pelosi and Congressional Democrats that former President Donald Trump incited the violence on Capitol Hill on January 6. The FBI has already walked back claims that the violent mob who entered the Capitol Building were intending to assassinate legislators and that the violence that did occur was actually pre-organized on social media platforms like Twitter.
President Donald Trump denounced the violence.
Speaking on Twitter, Republican Dan Crenshaw also called on Speaker Pelosi for breaking her own rules.

Nancy Pelosi famously broke the Democrat-pushed lockdown rules last year when she was seen walking into a salon, which should have been closed, without wearing a mask.
