(PresidentialWire.com)- Senator Rand Paul, the libertarian Republican legislator for Kentucky, revealed on Friday how he has been targeted by far-left extremists over his criticism of Dr. Anthony Fauci. Paul explained that he’d even received death threats after he accused Fauci of lying under oath about alleged National Institute of Health funding to the Wuhan Institute of Virology.
After having his ribs broken and being hospitalized by a neighbor, and then receiving a mysterious white substance and a death threat through the mail, you’d think the far left would have decided that Senator Paul has already endured enough abuse…
Speaking to Fox News, Senator Paul said that it appears to be his accusations that Fauci misled the public over the origins of the coronavirus that drew the attention of those who are now making the threats. He said that he has received five death threats in just the last week.
“I don’t know what the world is coming to,” he added.

Senator Paul said that it’s becoming impossible to ask honest and difficult questions, and that if people were able to ask these questions from the start then we would have known much sooner – he says – that Dr. Fauci wasn’t being completely honest.
And just as Senator Paul predicted during a senate hearing, in which he blasted Fauci for his support of Gain of Function research in China, a recent dump of thousands of Fauci’s emails show that he was telling former government officials last year not to wear masks because they are ineffective.
The white powder recently sent to Senator Paul’s home was confirmed by the Capitol Police to be non-dangerous, but told the press that they can’t provide any further information as they cannot discuss all investigations.
