Pro-Life Online Graduation Ruined By Trolls Sharing Porn and Nazi Imagery

(PresidentialWire.com)- Students for Life of America, the biggest pro-life youth organization in the country, had its virtual graduation event ruined by trolls on Wednesday. The event, which took place via online video conference, was “zoom bombed” by trolls who replaced the broadcast stream with graphic pornography, including gay pornography, and Nazi graphics and imagery.

The event also featured conservative news anchor Liz Wheeler, host of “Tipping Point” on the One America News Network.

President of SFLA Kristan Hawkins had invited pro-life students to attend the video conference wearing their caps and gowns for the online ceremony as an alternative to the real-life event planned before the Chinese coronavirus started spreading across the United States. It was a day for students to remember and as if the students hadn’t already lost something important, the trolls made it worse.

“During the graduation events, hackers stole another memory from students and seized control of the broadcast, sending pornographic images, which were graphic, upsetting, and used Nazi imagery and other offensive displays,” Hawkins explained in a press statement. “We regained control of the programming and the FBI and police will be contacted, but what is most tragic is that our students were not allowed to enjoy this moment in peace.”

Wheeler also made a statement, telling her Twitter followers that she “won’t stop fighting for life.”

“Just have a commencement address for @StudentsforLife for all the wonderful pro-life students who were unable to have a graduation…” she said. “We were hacked & zoom bombed with gay pornography & Nazi images…But you know what? WE WON’T STOP FIGHTING FOR LIFE.”

Wheeler encouraged students to not make the zoom bombing the defining memory of the event, but to remember why they were there.

Hawkins said that the incident was a life lesson for students, who face a future of defending life in various settings.

“At a graduation celebration where we were discussing the challenges we face in this moment, these hackers proved the point that the Pro-Life Generation has to be resilient and ready to face obstacles, including the real ugliness and disregard for women that abortion advocates like this have,” she said.

Zoom bombings have become increasingly common during lockdown, as trolls look for new ways to make other people miserable and entertain themselves.
