Poll Shows Biden At Lower Point Than Trump At The Same Point In His Presidency

(PresidentialWire.com)- Now that polls are showing President Joe Biden as less popular than former President Donald Trump at the same point in his presidency, the mainstream media is going to need to come up with an innovative new defense of Joe Biden and the Democrats.

A poll released on Wednesday from Quinnipiac University just revealed how only 33% of Americans have faith in the job President Joe Biden is doing, while a massive 53% said that they disapprove of the job he’s done so far.

It’s not hard to understand why, with the nation facing a stagflation crisis, economic turmoil, and an invasion of illegal aliens on the southern border.

It’s a three-point reduction over the results from the same survey performed in November of last year, which saw Biden with only 36% approval. The percentage of people who oppose the president’s job so far remains the same at 53%.

What’s remarkable about this is not just that Biden is doing so badly, but that he’s doing worse than President Donald Trump – and well know how those polls were badly inflated at the time. At this point in his presidency – according to a January 2018 survey performed by Quinnipiac – former President Trump had an approval rating of 36%.

Factor in the “Shy Trump voter” effect, whereby supporters of the president didn’t give accurate answers to pollsters over the fear of being outed as a Trump supporter, and we know that Biden is at least three percentage points lower…and potentially much, much lower in terms of his popularity.

Perhaps it has something to do with the bare shelves and the high cost of…well, the high cost of everything.
