Pelosi Staff Members Hit With COVID Amid Health Emergency

(PresidentialWire.com)- Even after White House Press Secretary Jen Psaki refused to call Vice President Kamala Harris’ meeting with AWOL Texas Democrats a “super spreader” event after six attendees tested positive for COVID-19, other Democrat officials have since come down with the virus after meeting the same Texas state legislators.

On Tuesday, Psaki revealed that one fully vaccinated White House staffer had tested positive for COVID-19. Soon after, House Speaker Nancy Pelosi’s office confirmed that one of their staffers had also tested positive for the virus.

There are a couple of important stories here. The first is that people who have received two doses of the COVID-19 vaccine appear to be coming down with coronavirus, suggesting that maybe the vaccine isn’t as effective as we were originally told.

Secondly, it reveals how Vice President Kamala Harris broke from the Democrats’ scaremongering and held a close proximity event with Texas Democrats despite telling the general public to avoid such meetings.

The news comes after almost 60 state legislators from Texas abandoned their duties in their state and flew to Washington, D.C., on a private plane. Their goal is to avoid a vote on an election security bill that would make it more difficult for people to cast illegal votes and to persuade Congress to pass a national bill that would strip the states of their right to set their own election laws.

Drew Hammill, Speaker Pelosi’s chief of staff, said that the staffer in their office had no contact with the speaker since the initial exposure to the virus.

We’re sure the whole country is delighted to hear it…

The entire Press Office was reportedly working remotely with the exception of those who did not have any exposure to the individual or who had recently received a negative COVID test.

President Joe Biden told a Cabinet meeting on Tuesday that Americans must “stay vigilant” with the Delta variant spreading across the country, but apparently that rule doesn’t apply to the vice president.
