Pelosi Calls Republicans In Congress The “Enemy”

( House Speaker Nancy Pelosi, who publicly discussed the possibility of “uprisings” all over the country during a press briefing last year, put her Republican congressional colleagues in danger on Thursday when she claimed that they are the “enemy.”

Pelosi, who said very little about the violent Antifa and Black Lives Matter riots committed by her supporters, called for money to be spent on protecting her and her colleagues from the Republican “enemy” in Congress, and claimed without evidence that she was in danger.

Pelosi told reporters that she believes Congress must provide cash “for more security for members, when the enemy is within the House of Representatives, a threat that members are concerned about.”

Talk about gaslighting.

When Speaker Pelosi was asked to clarify her comments, she doubled down and made astonishing and unsubstantiated claims about her Republican colleagues.

“It means that we have members of Congress who want to bring guns on the floor and have threatened violence on other members of Congress,” she said.

Pelosi did not provide evidence or specify which member of Congress she was speaking about. If any member of Congress has threatened violence then that would be a criminal act and punishable.

So who exactly is meant to have made this claim?

Some outlets, including the Associated Press, have speculated that Pelosi may have been talking about Rep. Marjorie Taylor Greene. The AP said that Taylor Greene has expressed support for the Q Anon movement and “liked” posts online that were threatening to journalists. Taylor Greene’s office responded to a request for comment and said that the Democrats are threatening her as she is a “threat to their goal of socialism.”

If Nancy Pelosi is speaking about Taylor Greene, and she isn’t lying, then perhaps we’ll get clarification on that soon.
