(PresidentialWire.com)- If you thought President Barack Obama had done enough damage to race relations in the United States…well, he isn’t done.
Following the shooting of Daunte Wright on Tuesdays, the Obamas flared up their radical racial politics once again claiming that the incident was an indication that the police needs reform.
Why does nobody call for police reform when white criminals are shot?
In a statement from the former president and former first lady, they claim, “Our hearts are heavy over yet another shooting of a Black man, Daunte Wright, at the hands of police.”

“The fact that this could happen even as the city of Minneapolis is going through the trial of Derek Chauvin and reliving the heart-wrenching murder of George Floyd indicates not just how important it is to conduct a full and transparent investigation, but also just how badly we need to reimagine policing and public safety in this country,” the statement continued.
The Obamas made the shocking claim – and assumption – that George Floyd was “murdered,” even though the case aimed at deciding what happened is still ongoing. Former police officer Derek Chauvin has been defended by multiple medical doctors and experts who said that George Floyd, whom Chauvin arrested, died as a result of a fentanyl overdose and not because of the restraint tactics used by Chauvin.
The case is ongoing, but the Obamas saw political capital and just went for it.
Just like the Chauvin and Floyd case, the Wright incident is more complicated than the Obamas claimed. The incident involved a 26-year-old veteran officer who shot and killed Wright when he attempted to flee while he was being arrested during a traffic stop. The officer mistakenly pulled her service pistol when she intended to draw her stun gun – a mistake, she admits, but something even the Obamas refused to acknowledge.
If you listened to the former president, you’d think this was a mindless racial attack.
And, it’s not the first time former President Barack Obama has tried to pit white and Black people against each other. Following the tragic George Floyd incident, the former president said that “institutionalized racism” still plagues America – an attack on the nation’s hard-working public officials, police officers, military officers, and more.
Why does President Barack Obama continue to jump to conclusions on cases involving the police? And why does he never condemn police officers arresting white Americans?
