Obama STILL Won’t Endorse Biden, Even After Sanders Drops Out!

(PresidentialWire.Com)- Former President Barack Obama has stayed quiet on the Democratic presidential nominee race, and while it seemed suspicious that he wouldn’t endorse his friend Joe Biden, he had a decent excuse. Barack Obama was understood to be saving his endorsement for the nomination in an attempt to avoid division in the party at a time when socialist Senator Bernie Sanders was considered the frontrunner.

Now that the Vermont senator is out of the way, after ending his presidential campaign on Wednesday, President Barack Obama is nowhere to be seen.

Why won’t he endorse former Vice President Joe Biden?

After working with President Obama in the White House for eight years, an endorsement for Biden seemed likely from the start – but it didn’t happen. For some time, the Biden campaign insisted that the candidate specifically requested that Obama does not endorse him, but few believed it.

When Biden first announced that he would launch his campaign, back in April 2019, Obama released a statement that praised the candidate but did not endorse him.

“President Obama has long said that selecting Joe Biden as his running mate in 2008 was one of the best decisions ever made. He relied on the Vice President’s knowledge, insight, and judgment throughout both campaigns and the entire presidency,” the statement read. “The two forged a special bond over the last 10 years and remain close today.”

If the bond is so special, and they remain close, why is Obama still refusing to endorse Biden even though Bernie Sanders is out of the way and no other candidate has a path to the nomination?

President Trump thinks he knows why.

During a White House Coronavirus Task Force press conference, President Trump said he believes Obama feels something is “wrong.” The president even argued that Obama may know something about Biden that the public doesn’t know.

“You know what, I’ll tell you, it does amaze me that president Obama hasn’t supported Sleepy Joe. It just hasn’t happened. When is it going to happen?” he asked. “He knows something that you don’t know. That I think I know, but you don’t know.”

What do you think it is?
