Obama Got a Secret Briefing by Feds Before Their Controversial Decision

The long-awaited 306-page Durham Report was finally released on Monday, May 15. John Durham was tasked in 2019 by then-Attorney General William Barr to investigate Russian interference in the 2016 election.

One of the revelations of the Durham Report concerns an August 3, 2016, confidential briefing in the White House Situation Room by former CIA Director John Brennan to former President Barack Obama and then-VP Joe Biden, FBI Director James Comey, and Attorney General Loretta Lynch.

The briefing revealed that the CIA had uncovered evidence that presidential candidate Hillary Clinton planned to use false information to link then-candidate Donald Trump to Russia.

Brennan’s handwritten notes confirm that Clinton would use foreign policy advisors to create a false scandal that Russian security services worked to aid Donald Trump in the 2016 election.

Despite a formal referral to FBI Director James Comey and Peter Strzok, then Deputy Asst. Director of the FBI Counterintelligence Division, no action was taken by the FBI to investigate or to verify the intelligence used in Hillary Clinton’s plan.

After ignoring the need to investigate the proposed Clinton misinformation attack on Trump, the FBI used the fake information as a justification to begin an investigation of Donald Trump.

The FBI pulled out all stops and began investigating members of the Trump campaign. Yet, nothing was done to do any substantial investigation into the Clinton plan or the infamous Steele dossier.

Even though President Obama and Vice President Biden knew the Clinton attack was based on unfounded and unverified information, neither took any action to dispute the data but instead reinforced the idea of Russian interference in the upcoming election.

Biden perpetuated the lie of Russian interference on July 25, 2019, claiming Russia was guilty of undermining American democracy and interfering in the 2016 election. He said he was the leader who would stand up to Putin and the Kremlin and act to secure US elections.
