Newt Gingrich Under Investigation For Trying To Overturn Election

( According to The Hill, the House Select Committee looking into the Capitol riot on January 6 has purportedly found that former House Speaker Newt Gingrich was involved in preparations to rig the 2020 election.

According to a committee member, Gingrich appears to have assisted former President Donald Trump’s friends in their efforts to create fictitious electors in states Trump claimed to have won. In a recent letter to Gingrich, committee head Bennie Thompson asked for his “voluntary participation,” which suggested he had discussed election outcome reversal strategies with Trump advisers Jason Miller, Mark Meadows, and Jared Kushner.

According to The Hill, the committee obtained Gingrich’s email correspondence in which he advised using a “call to action” in a Georgia post-election TV campaign that promoted suspicions about voter fraud. He allegedly told Kushner and Miller that his goal was to incite “the country’s fury,” After that, people “would put pressure on legislators and governors.”

According to The Hill, Gingrich joined in efforts to reverse the election after Jan. 6, according to committee member and Democratic California Rep. Zoe Lofgren. He and Supreme Court Justice Clarence Thomas’ wife, Ginni Thomas were among those with whom the committee had spoken after speaking with more than a thousand people, she said on CBS’s “Face the Nation.”

According to reliable sources, the committee’s ninth and most recent hearing was held in late July, and members will likely debate scheduling more hearings on Tuesday. These hearings can go on well into October.

Gingrich described the committee as “a show trial in the Stalinist tradition” on “Fox & Friends” on Monday and said he was not personally involved. He made mention of the committee’s actions as the midterm elections got closer.

He said the rule used to be that they stopped everything 60 days before an election to avoid trying to sway the outcome. Instead, he claimed that a purposeful targeting strategy was being used to frighten Republican funders, candidates, and even Republican attorneys. He said this is the closest thing to a police state strategy we have ever seen in this nation.
