(PresidentialWire.com)- If you thought the Democrats were lying when they said that America doesn’t support President Donald Trump and the Republicans’ push for election reform, then this data from Rasmussen suggests you’re probably right.
According to a new poll from Rasmussen Reports, some 61% of Americans agree with former President Donald Trump on the need to reform the way states handle elections.
The poll was performed after former President Trump issued a statement on July 6 calling for election reform in swing states like Arizona, Wisconsin, Michigan, Georgia, and Pennsylvania. The former president argued that voters in these states had “lost confidence” in the voting and election process following widespread fraud and misconduct in the last election.
And while Democrats continue to insist that the election was not impacted by fraud – while consistently refusing to cooperate on forensic audits that could prove them right – it turns out that most Americans agree with Trump.
The poll found that 42% of respondents agree with Trump’s statement while 19% agree “somewhat.” Only 34% of Americans disagree with the former president, which gives us a good idea of how many people in America actually support the far-left agenda adopted by most elected Democrats.
The all-important “Independent” voter base also appears to be on former President Trump’s side, with 63% of Independents agreeing with former President Donald Trump, and only 41% of Independents agreeing with President Joe Biden’s disingenuous claim that America is facing the “most significant test” of its democracy since the Civil War.
Democrats really have a way of telling blatant lies in emotional and semi-believable ways, don’t they? Sadly, some people seem to fall for it.
The poll was conducted among 1,000 likely voters and has a margin of error of +/- 3 percentage points.
Despite the overwhelming support for election reforms, Democrats continue to refuse to work with Republicans on establishing new rules that would make it more difficult to cast illegitimate votes. 60 Texas state legislators even abandoned their duty and fled the state this month to stop Republicans from passing a new election security bill.
