New Poll Shows Americans Do NOT Support Passport Rule

( Did you know that the State Department is planning on implementing a new rule that allows people to change their gender on their passport if they believe they are a member of the opposite sex?

The decision was announced on June 30 by Secretary of State Antony Blinken. He said that his department would be “immediately” updating procedures to “allow applicants to self-select their gender as ‘M’ or ‘F.’”

He added that they will also no longer require people to provide a medical certification to change their gender if it does not match the gender on their identity documents, birth certificates, or other citizenship documents.

And completely unsurprisingly, it turns out that a majority of Americans don’t support the obviously ludicrous new rule.

A telephone and online survey released on Sunday by Rasmussen Reports shows how 54% of respondents disapprove of the plans, while only 35% actually approve of it.

Though, in saying that, having 35% of the American public approve of people being able to change the gender on their passport without even so much as a doctor stepping in and approving it seems strange. Do you believe that?

Some 18% said that they “strongly” approve of it, which seems to represent the far-left wing of the Democratic Party which is, sadly, growing in size.

The survey also found that 60% of Americans oppose allowing transgender people to decide which bathroom or locker room to choose. It comes after Darren Agee Merager, a 52-year-old male, was charged on September 8 after he failed to appear at a hearing related to six different felony charges of indecent exposure, including at the Wi Spa in Los Angeles and the West Hollywood swimming pool.

Merager claims to be a woman and allegedly exposed his erect penis to children in the changing rooms.

Why are the Democrats so in favor of supporting this wildly unpopular idea?
