Nancy Pelosi Praises Partnership With Israel

( Far-left House Speaker Nancy Pelosi attempted to paint the Democratic Party as moderate last week. While paying a trip to Jerusalem and speaking with Israeli officials, Pelosi did the media rounds explaining her cooperation with the Israelis and attempting to shake off the anti-Semitic image being created by Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez and her “Squad.”

She also spoke to Israel’s parliament on Wednesday, describing how American support for Israel is “ironclad,” even though her party has some major differences in opinion on issues relating to Iran, Palestine, and more.

Pelosi chose to talk as much as she could about what the United States and Israel have in common and noted that her party wants to rein in Iran and stop the country from developing a nuclear weapon – a goal and desire shared by the Israelis.

“The US remains ironclad, I keep using that word, in our support of Israel’s security and regional stability,” she said during the speech.

“We are together in the fight against terrorism posed by Iran, both in the region and also its nuclear development,” she added. “The nuclear threat of Iran is a global one…Israel’s proximity to Iran is of concern to all of us.”

The comments come at a time when Israel is at greater risk than ever of being attacked by Iran, which is the largest state sponsor of terrorism in the world. The United States federal government, under the leadership of Joe Biden, is still working to bring Iran into compliance with the failed Obama-era Iran Nuclear Deal.

So far, no luck.

The U.S. has reimposed sanctions and Iran has continued to ramp up its nuclear development, enriching uranium to levels it has never reached before and coming closer every day to developing a nuclear weapon of its own.

Israel has stated that it will not be bound by any international agreement made relating to the Iranian nuclear program and has warned that it is willing to take military action to prevent Israel from building a nuclear weapon. It’s hard not to understand why, given that Iran wants to wipe Israel off the map.

The question is…will Pelosi’s words be enough to convince Israel, and Jews in America, that anti-Semites in her party don’t run her party?
