(PresidentialWire.com)- If You defend President Donald Trump, you can expect the media to go after you. And that’s precisely what’s happening to former New York City Mayor, Rudy Giuliani.
After fighting to ensure election integrity and put evidence of fraud and misconduct in the 2020 presidential election in front of the courts, attorney Giuliani has now been accused by the press of drinking too much.
Uproxx recently reported on claims made by Patrick Byrne, the CEO of Overstock, in which he described how Giuliani was drinking too much. It’s a claim only made by Byrne and not backed up by any evidence.

Mediate picked up on the story too, describing how Byrne said Giuliani was “sh*t-faced” almost every night.
In Byrne’s blog, the Trump ally claimed that many of his colleagues “interacted with Rudy from time to time.”
“Nearly all mentioned two things: the inordinate amount of attention he was paying to his daily podcast, and his drinking,” he said. “His own staffers were bringing it up to us. Something was clear to all who were around him: almost every evening, and many early afternoons, Rudy was shit-faced. That, and his podcasts, were the only guarantees in Rudy’s life.”
The Daily Beast revelled in the story in a piece entitled, “His Biz Is Shunned, She Resigned, and Everyone Is Being Sued: What Became of Trump’s Election Dead-Enders.”
Will Sommer and Asawin Suebsaeng wrote the piece for the Daily Beast, assessing the final days of the Trump presidency and sneering at the former president’s efforts to ensure election integrity.
In the piece, the writers take aim at My Pillow owner Mike Lindell and pro-Trump attorney Sidney Powell, both of whom alleged that Dominion Voting Systems machines played a part in stealing the 2020 presidential election from Donald Trump.
Giuliani fought tirelessly on behalf of President Donald Trump, attending evidentiary hearings in the state legislatures of battleground states Michigan, Pennsylvania, Arizona, and more.
