Media Sidelines Joe Biden’s Supreme Court Nominee Story

(PresidentialWire.com)- Now that the dust has settled from President Joe Biden’s first State of the Union address, Breitbart just revealed how the crisis in Ukraine completely overshadowed his speech. Even the left-wing press was more interested in Biden’s horrible handling of the crisis than they were in his attempt to tell Americans that his administration has had a great first year in office.

Breitbart noted how, despite Biden’s message of hope during his SOTU address, the Wall Street Journal, Washington Post, and New York Times all featured stories about the Ukraine crisis on their front pages.

Not a picture of Joe Biden at the podium for the State of the Union, not a quote from him telling the American people “We’re going to be okay,” but stories about Ukraine – a country on the other side of the planet.

The Times’ headline was, “Russia Batters Key Cities in Wider Attack; Biden Seeks to Rally World Against Putin.”

Meanwhile, the Washington Post ran with the headline, “Strikes Intensify and the battle for Kiev Await,”

The Wall Street Journal’s front page? “Russia Hammers Civilian Targets.”

That’s rough for the Biden administration – particularly given the reports that Biden was hoping the State of the Union would serve as a “reset” for his administration, after his recent speaking tour didn’t quite “reset” his presidency in the way he hoped.

Between the economic crisis at home and World War III brewing abroad, it’s no wonder the media didn’t put Biden on their front pages after his first SOTU address.
