A sensational new book claims that senior US lawmakers do not speak out against China due to personal financial interests. Peter Schweizer’s “Blood Money: Why the Powerful Turn a Blind Eye While China Kills Americans” claims the Chinese government has a strategy known as “Disintegration Warfare,” which will sow chaos inside America by intentionally flooding its streets with the killer drug Fentanyl and cheap weapons. He furthermore singles out Senate Republican leader Mitch McConnell, saying he does not speak about the issue because his wife has strong financial ties to the Chinese communist regime.
Schweizer says McConnell’s wife Elaine Chao’s family runs an international shipping company that relies on a good relationship with China. He claims the Chao business works closely with a firm called Hutchison Port Holdings, which, in turn, has ties with China’s government and its underground criminal networks.
The company is likewise implicated in organized crime in Mexico, where it operates and controls international shipping terminals, including Manzanillo, where US officials believe 90% of Fentanyl enters the country from China.
Mr. Schweizer furthermore sensationally claims that China is sending devices that turn handguns into machine guns. The devices can be produced on 3D printers and permit handgun users to fire several shots with just one squeeze of the trigger. Alcohol, Tobacco, and Firearms (ATF) agent David Chapman said, “These kind of switches make a whole class of weapons particularly lethal.” He added that they cater to extremists and criminals.
While discussing his explosive book with Mark Levin in February, Schweizer said America is at war with China, but most people don’t realize it. He stated that China has a hand in the emergence of violent protests, the radical transgender movement, and other disruptive and destructive activities in the US.
Additional senior figures Schweizer blames for enabling China include California Governor Gavin Newsom, who he claims has connections to Chinese organized crime dating back to his time as Mayor of San Francisco.
