(PresidentialWire.com)- According to a report by Dallas Morning News, a man claims he is willing to press charges against Texas Republican gubernatorial candidate Allen Mask over an altercation that allegedly saw West tear off his mask in an airport.
Lawrence Eric Stern told the news outlet that a Dallas/Fort Worth International Airport detective had confirmed that the case has been placed before the Grapevine Municipal Court.
According to a police report filed by the airport, on November 3, Stern was walking through the airport when he saw West walking without a mask. At present, anybody in an airport is required by the Transportation Security Administration to wear a mask until at least January 18.
Stern took it upon himself to police the matter, shouting at West that he should put on a mask. He then called West an “idiot,” and when West asked him to repeat when he said, he said it again.
An officer wrote that Stern claimed he was “hit” on the right side of his face as West tried to pull the mask off of his face.
“Mr. Stern stated he shoved Mr. West back to get him away from him,” the report continued.
Why do these people insist on picking a fight and then acting like victims?
West, however, has a different story. He revealed that Stern lifted his arms as if to start fighting, but Stern claims that it didn’t happen. Stern also claims that West called him a “stupid white man.”
West took to Twitter to explain what really happened.
“This morning at the airport a man starts yelling at me and tells me to put my mask on and calls me an idiot. I walked over to him and asked if he called me an idiot, he continued to yell at me. I pulled down his mask and said see, nothing happened,” he said.
He added that the man put up his fists, but that he walked away. He also admitted to calling him a stupid man, but did not confirm the claim that he called him a “stupid white man.”
He put up his fists and I walked away. I did call him a stupid man. I have spoken to DFW PD.
There’s no mask law, nothing has ever passed in the US House and Senate making wearing a mask law.

It’s entirely possible that the injection of the word “white” was an effort to make it some kind of racist crime. But who knows?
The police report says that the incident is a Class C misdemeanor and is more likely to result in a fine rather than any jail time.
