(PresidentialWire.com)- Rudy Giuliani, the former Mayor of New York City who became the target of left-wing vitriol for his legal work supporting former President Donald Trump, recently took part in the popular TV show “The Masked Singer”…and prompted three judges to walk off stage after revealing himself.
TMZ reported last Wednesday that Giuliani took part in the show, which saw him singing and performing in a strange outfit and asking judges to guess his identity. However, during filming of the show in January, Giuliani eventually took off his mask and revealed himself. Judges Robin Thicke and Ken Jeong then walked off set, according to reports, presumably because they believe the lies told about Giuliani in the press.
The other two judges, Nicole Scherzinger and Jenny McCarthy stayed on the stage after the reveal and talked to Giuliani. They reportedly discussed his work defending democracy in the wake of the 2020 presidential elections, and the false claims that he pushed “baseless claims” of election fraud and misconduct.
It all took place on the first episode of the new season.
It’s not the first time that a popular Republican has appeared on the show, but the reaction this time was far more extreme.
Former Governor of Alaska Sarah Palin appeared on the show in 2020, and a video of her singing “Baby Got Back” in a bear suit went viral soon after. She received a round of applause from the crowd and a cheer when she said that her performance helps bring some unity to the country.
At least Palin finally got some respect, but it’s a sign of the times when America’s Mayor gets jeered and judges walk off stage.
