Kevin McCarthy Caught On Hot Mic

(PresidentialWire.com)- Remember when GOP House Minority Leader Kevin McCarthy rallied behind House GOP Conference Chair Liz Cheney earlier this year? Well, those days of solidarity are over…and it’s because Cheney refuses to demonstrate any kind of solidarity with Make America Great Again supporters in her party.

McCarthy was caught on a hot mic just before he went live with Fox & Friends trashing Republic Wyoming Rep. Liz Cheney saying that she was “problems” and that he’s had enough of her.

It follows a tweet from Cheney on Monday in which she wrongly asserted that the 2020 presidential election was free from fraud and misconduct.

“The 2020 presidential election was not stolen,” she said without evidence.

“Anyone who claims it was is spreading THE BIG LIE, turning their back on the rule of law, and poisoning our democratic system,” she added, ignoring the evidence of tens of thousands of ballots cast with fake addresses and various issues relating to the administration of the election in battleground states like Arizona and Georgia.

McCarthy is evidently done with her constant trashing of former President Donald Trump, telling Steve Doocy off the air before his interview that he thinks “she’s got real problems.”

“I’ve had it with…I’ve had it with her…You know, I’ve lost confidence,” he can be heard saying.

“Well, someone just has to bring a motion, but I assume that will probably take place,” he added, seemingly referring to a motion to remove her from her position as the third-most powerful Republican in Congress.

When McCarthy was asked by Doocy if he believes that Cheney is the right person to be the House GOP Conference Chair, he said it was up to the conference to decide.

If there is a fresh motion to remove her, this time it doesn’t look as though Cheney will have McCarthy’s support.
