Kamala Harris May Tp The Munich Security Conference, Report Suggests

(PresidentialWire.com)- Organizers of the Munich Security Conference have said that Vice President Kamala Harris may attend this join, joining 35 heads of state and government at the usual venue in the Bavarian capital. The event will take place this month, according to a statement from organizers this week.

It will be a return to normal after 2021’s conference was held digitally owing to the continued spread of COVID-19.

Also known as “Davos for defense,” the conference brings the heads of state and government for some of the biggest economies in the world. It’s held at the luxury Bayerischer Hof hotel in Munich every year, and usually doesn’t see vice presidents in attendance.

Wolfgang Ischinger, the outgoing chairman of the conference, said that Russian President Vladimir Putin would not be attending this year and they still don’t know whether Russian Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov will attend in his place.

He also said that he is expecting to hear soon on whether or not Vice President Kamala Harris will be attending the event.

Doesn’t it make you wonder why the vice president of the United States, with no experience in handling diplomatic matters – particularly not during a time of crisis between Ukraine and Russia – would be attending a meeting like this?

Isn’t this the kind of thing President Joe Biden should be doing?
