(Presidentialwire.com)- Pennsylvania’s new Democratic Senator John Fetterman is set to make a cameo in a movie starring Christian Bale. It is uncertain if Fetterman will have to speak, according to Breitbart.
Fetterman will take office in the incoming Senate in January 2023. He made the announcement while posing with his wife, Gisele, alongside Bale on the set of “The Pale Blue Eye,” a 19th-century crime drama being filmed in western Pennsylvania. Fetterman, who is currently the lieutenant governor, posted a photo to Twitter while dressed in costume, saying that it is a pleasure to work with director Scott Cooper a second time.

The film is to be released in theaters on December 23 before being available to stream on Netflix on January 6.
The cameo is not Fetterman’s first try at acting. In 2016, during an earlier bid for the Senate, he attempted to recreate the 1979 Coca-Cola advertisement featuring football legend ‘Mean’ Joe Greene who played for the Philadelphia Steelers. The low-quality ad meant to relate to western Pennsylvanians was considered to be very “cringe” by his critics.
The original ad began with Greene, coming down the tunnel when a kid offers him a coke. Greene accepts it and tosses the kid his jersey.
The Pennsylvania race was one of the many key races that Democrats had won, including the Georgia Senate runoff between Trump-backed Herschel Walker and incumbent Raphael Warnock.
The Senate was initially clinched by Democrats after the election victory of Sen. Catherine Cortez Masto in Nevada. But since Senator Krysten Sinema decided to leave the Democratic Party and become an Independent, she caused some potential issues for the Democratic-controlled Senate, according to Newsweek.
The Senate will now see three Independents that caucus with Democrats, including Bernie Sanders of Vermont, Angus King of Maine, and now Sinema of Arizona.
Sinema said that she does not expect anything to change about the Senate structure but added that what her switch means for the mechanics is “a question for Chuck Schumer…I intend to show up to work, do the same work that I always do. I just intend to show up to work as an Independent.”
