Ivanka Trump Returns To Public Spotlight During January 6th Testimony

(PresidentialWire.com)- Ivanka Trump, the daughter of former President Donald Trump, recently testified before the ultra-partisan House Committee that claims to be investigating the origins of the January 6 riot – which legislators on the committee wrongly describe as an “insurrection” that was inspired by the former president.

We don’t know what Ivanka Trump said during the eight-hour testimony that took place last week, but extreme left-wing committee chair Rep. Bennie Thompson revealed on Tuesday that Trump was working with them.

“I mean, you know, not in broad, chatty terms but she’s answering questions,” he said.

Not only that, but Democrats are desperately trying to find something to incriminate the former president and are now claiming that Ivanka Trump’s comments might mean that the former president will face prosecution.

According to former federal prosecutor Glenn Kirschner – who aligned with the Democrats on these smears against the former president – the former president was asked by several people in his administration to call off his supporters on January 6 and that they “tried and failed” to stop him.

Kerschner made the claim on The Stephanie Miller Show, and Insider reports that he believes Ivanka Trump “incriminated” her father.

“Ivanka tried and failed, so we sent her back into the Oval Office a second time because she can be pretty tenacious, and she couldn’t get her father to stop the attack on the Capitol,” Kirschner said on the show.

What’s curious about this claim, however, is that the former president did specifically call on his supporters to remain peaceful and even told violent protesters to go home.

For some reason – and let’s face it, we know the reason – the Democrats and anti-Trump activists are ignoring this fact.

“Even his own daughter couldn’t stop him. That is deeply incriminating information. Presumably, it’s been provided by Ivanka under oath to the J-6 committee, and if I were prosecuting the case, she would be one of the very early witnesses I called,” Kirschner claimed.

He said this without even knowing what Ivanka Trump said in her testimony.

Maybe he should wait and find out, instead.
