Conservative Journalist Murdered in Liberal-Run City
Austin police responded to a “shoot/stab hotshot” call at approximately 11:56 p.m. on Sunday, finding Jamie White with “obvious signs of trauma” in the parking lot of his apartment complex on Douglas Street, Austin. Emergency responders rushed White to a nearby hospital where he was pronounced dead shortly after arrival, making him the 8th homicide victim in Austin this year.
InfoWars Founder Alex Jones confirmed White’s death in a statement that highlighted the rising crime in Austin under progressive leadership. White worked as a conservative reporter covering politics, entertainment, and high-profile controversies for the legendary outlet, which has faced censorship on mainstream platforms for challenging establishment narratives.
The question now is whether White was a specific target, or if this tragic murder is the result of left-wing policies that hurt everybody regardless of their politics.

Alex Jones Points to Soros-Backed DA
In an emotional statement, Alex Jones partially blamed White’s murder on the policies implemented by Austin District Attorney Jose Garza. Jones specifically cited Garza’s connection to progressive billionaire George Soros, whose funding has helped elect liberal prosecutors across the country who have been criticized for implementing soft-on-crime policies.
“We are deeply saddened to inform you that InfoWars Reporter Jamie White was brutally murdered around midnight Sunday night due, in part, to the policies of the Soros Austin, TX D.A. Jose Garza,” Jones stated. “We pledge that Jamie’s tragic death will not be in vain, and those responsible for this senseless violence will be brought to justice.”
Preliminary investigation suggests the suspects may have been attempting to burglarize White’s car when he interrupted them, prompting the fatal shooting. The suspects immediately fled the scene, and Austin police are now actively seeking information from anyone who may have witnessed the incident or had their vehicle burglarized in the same area that night.
