(PresidentialWire.com)- A “Back the Blue” rally organized by the Ohio Gun Owners organization, and which expected to host Rep. Marjorie Taylor Greene as a speaker, has been postponed because of serious threats made by Antifa and Black Lives Matter.
The rally was organized not just to support America’s Second Amendment rights, but also to show support for Columbus police officer Nicholas Reardon who fatally shot 16-year-old Ma’Khia Bryant last month as she was stabbing a woman in the street.
Reardon was wrongly targeted as a racist murderer by left-wing activists and even NBA player LeBron James who tweeted a photograph of the office with the phrase, “You’re next.”
Chris Dorr, an organizer of the rally planned in support of the officer, was postponed because security fencing that was required would be unavailable on that date – and the security fencing was only required because of threats from left-wing activists.
Dorr posted a video and update on Facebook, saying that the lack of fencing would make it easier for left-wing radicals to disrupt their planned peaceful rally.
“Because the shock agents planning to counter-protest and disrupt our event are known to have a history of physical violence and destruction, the decision was made to postpone the event to a later date to ensure the safety of the men, women and children who were planning to attend,” he said.
Dorr called Reardon a “hero” in the post, something that NBC seemed to find perplexing.
Anyone who has seen the video footage would know that Reardon literally saved a life by shooting Bryant, who was attempting to murder another woman in the street.
Rep. Taylor Greene said that she also received “incredibly disturbing and infuriating” information from the organizers, explaining how Black Lives Matter, Antifa, and other organizations were planning on protesting – to which she responded by saying she would “not be used as a tool by the left or the right or the media or anyone or blamed for violence caused by radical domestic terrorists BLM/Antifa in a CLEAR SET UP.”
“We will not play into the hands of the enemies within, who want to provoke violence, hurt innocent people, and then use it in a political spin to tear me down, our great police down, and the freedom-loving people of this country down,” she added.
And this is the woman the media tries to portray as crazy?
