From Biden to Harris to Congress, Americans Disapprove

(PresidentialWire.com)- Joe Biden isn’t the only politician polling underwater. At this point, Americans don’t seem to approve of anybody.

The current Real Clear Politics average has President Biden 6.2 points underwater with 44.1 percent approving of Biden and 50.3 percent disapproving.

Things are even worse for Kamala Harris. The Real Clear Politics average puts Kamala underwater by 12 points, with 53 percent having an unfavorable view of the insecure bully.

Speaker of the House Nancy Pelosi has them both beat. Her RCP average is underwater by 24.1 points, with a 33.6 percent favorable rating and a staggering 57.7 unfavorable rating.

Meanwhile, Congress itself is so far underwater, it’s hitting bottom. The RCP average has Congress underwater by 43.4 points, with only a 22.6 percent approval and a 66 percent disapproval.

In the 2022 Generic Congressional Vote, the RCP average has Republicans beating Democrats by 2.3 points. The most recent generic vote polls are brutal for Democrats. Fox News’ generic vote poll from last week had Republicans over Democrats by 4 points. Worse still, Rasmussen Reports had Republicans favored over Democrats by 9 points in last week’s polling.

And while a recent Wall Street Journal survey found more voters wanted to return to the policies under former President Donald Trump than stick with Biden’s policies (48 percent to 46 percent), former President Trump is underwater as well.

In the Journal survey, Trump’s favorability is underwater by 13 points, with 41 percent favorable and 54 percent unfavorable. Meanwhile, Biden was underwater as well, but only by 11 points, 54 percent unfavorable to 43 percent favorable.

But when it comes to job approval, the Journal survey had President Biden underwater by 16 points, with 57 percent disapproving of the job he has done as President, while only 41 percent approve. Former President Trump’s job approval was only 2 points underwater, with 48 percent approving of the job he did as President and 50 percent disapproving.

In a recent Yahoo News/YouGov poll released last week, only 22 percent of respondents want Joe Biden to run again in 2024, while 57 percent do not.

Likewise, the Yahoo/YouGov poll found that only 27 percent of respondents want former President Donald Trump to run again, while 59 percent do not.
