(PresidentialWire.com)- Dr. Anthony Fauci, the head of the U.S. National Institute of Allergy and Infectious Diseases and the chief medical adviser to President Joe Biden, is now predicting another surge of COVID-19 infections…despite the U.S. speeding along with vaccinations.
On Wednesday, Flip Flop Fauci – who has repeatedly changed his mind on whether face masks work – said that there was a “disturbingly high level” of COVID infections.
Data from Johns Hopkins University revealed that there were over 61,000 new cases of COVID 19 this week.
Speaking to Anderson Cooper on far-left propaganda network CNN, Dr. Fauci said that there was a concerning lack of a significant decrease in infections, putting pressure on American doctors and medical professionals delivering vaccinations at a rate of more than one million per day.
“It’s almost a race between getting people vaccinated and this surge that seems to want to increase,” Fauci said, also noting that Europe is seeing a spike in infections.
But the United States actually has reason to celebrate, with over 112 million people, roughly one-third of the total population, already having received the first dose of the vaccine. It puts America well on the path to herd immunity.
The United Kingdom is reportedly expected to reach herd immunity on Monday according to modelling by the University College London. According to the research, almost three-quarters of the population of the United Kingdom – some 73.4% – will have achieved immunity from the virus either by vaccination or infection, making it one of the first nations in the world to finally be on the path to completely beating the virus.
And the United States may not be far behind, but Dr. Anthony Fauci warned that Americans shouldn’t “declare victory prematurely.”
This week, Fauci also tried to play down fears of a massive surge.
Can he make up his mind?
Speaking about whether the recent uptick in cases will either be a deadly surge or a brief jump, he said, “I think that the vaccine is gonna prevent that from happening.”
Dr. Anthony Fauci has long been criticized for his inconsistency on matters relating to the virus, including his position on whether Americans should wear two masks to protect themselves, or even wear masks at all.
