FBI Director Says 9/11 Was Good Because It Made Government And FBI “Stronger” And Bigger

(PresidentialWire.com)- Christopher Wray, the director of the FBI, reflected on the horrors of September 11 and described how it changed the bureau he leads forever. During a ceremony commemorating the 20th anniversary of the worst terror attack ever inflicted on the United States of America in Virginia, Wray claimed that the agency had benefitted from the attack because it made them “stronger” and “smarter.”

Sure, the agency might have toughened up since then, but perhaps he should be a little more careful the way he frames what he is saying. It’s hard to say anybody benefitted from such a horrendous attack on Americans.

Wray also praised the leadership of former FBI director Robert Mueller, saying that he adopted the mentality of doing everything the agency could to prevent any regrets.
