(PresidentialWire)- Elon Musk never did explicitly come out in support of President Donald Trump, but everything he says and does indicates that he supports freedom. The Tesla CEO and founder said this week that he expects America would be “unhappy” if Big Tech chooses what people are allowed to say.
Taking to Twitter on Monday, Musk said that a “lot of people are going to be super unhappy with West Coast high tech as the de facto arbiter of free speech.”

Musk made the comment in response to a satirical article from The Babylon Bee, titled, “Evil Fascist Dictator Censored and Voted Out Of Office.”
It comes after President Donald Trump was permanently suspended by Twitter for allegedly promoting or inciting violence. Twitter appeared to be using the same bad logic as Democrats who impeached the president this week, despite the FBI confirming on Wednesday and Thursday that the attack on the Capitol Building appeared to be pre-planned and not inspired the president’s speech.
Facebook also banned the president until at least January 20, with YouTube taking similar action to stop the president streaming speeches to his millions of subscribers.
Musk has previously shown contempt for Big Tech, referring to Silicon Valley as “Sanctimonious Valley” back in April after the big social media and technology companies endorsed the draconian lockdown measures implemented in California.
Too much the moral arbiter of the world

He followed up the Tweet with, “Too much the moral arbiter of the world.”
Could Elon Musk be a secret Republican?
The SpaceX founder also moved to Texas late in 2020, citing California’s lockdown rules and high taxes.
If more big figures like Elon Musk stand up to social media, it could provide valuable backup to Republicans who have so far been left without much support outside of politics.
Just how long can social media go on banning dissident voices?
