(PresidentialWire.com) – When Pete Buttigieg and Amy Klobuchar dropped out, they did so knowing that splitting the vote would only help socialist Senator Bernie Sanders take the Democratic nomination. Elizabeth Warren, who despite being similar to Sanders in many ways doesn’t appear to like the man, is still refusing to step down.
But it hasn’t paid off for her. Not only did Elizabeth Warren fail to win on Super Tuesday in her home state of Massachusetts, the far-left candidate came third.
When even your own people don’t want you to win, perhaps it’s time to reconsider whether your candidacy is viable.
Joe Biden won the state with 33.8% of the vote, and Warren’s rival Bernie Sanders came second with 26.6% of the vote. That left Warren with a measly 21.3% of the vote and 17 candidates.
Massachusetts was one of many states that handed a victory to Biden, giving his campaign the boost it needed to provide effective opposition to Sanders.
The state was one to watch for two reasons. First, it gave Warren a chance to use her local support to prove her viability as a candidate. Second, it boasted the fourth-most delegates of all the states on Super Tuesday. With 91 delegates, it offered a sizeable number of votes to help a candidate cross the threshold and win.
Analyzing the results, things look pretty bad for Warren. Probably unsurprisingly, Warren did extremely poorly from male voters. She took home just 17% of male voters and only 34% of female voters. That’s terrible for the only sort-of viable female candidate in the race.
U.S. News reported that Warren “lost in virtually every demographic group, according to the exit polls.”
At this point, Warren’s only appeal is to far-left radicals who would rather a woman be in charge than an old white man like Bernie Sanders.
In a tweet posted on Wednesday, a day after she lost her home state, Warren doubled down on her “woke” credentials by talking about “Latinx” history.
Yes, these are hard times. Yes, people are afraid. And the danger is real. Our very democracy hangs in the balance. But Latinx and Chicano history teaches us the power of fighting back. pic.twitter.com/wrIKGIPWI8

Seriously, Warren, why don’t you give it up? Nobody cares about being woke. Being the most politically correct candidate on the stage can’t even win you the Democratic nomination!
