Donald Trump To Face “Press Play” Trial

(PresidentialWire.com)- A political and legal commentator, Glenn Kirschner, claims that former President Donald Trump will be subjected to a “press play trial” in Georgia. “Press play” refers to the type of case he regularly tried that contained devastating audio evidence.

Kirschner reaffirmed his previous hopeful pronouncements about the probe.

Kirschner served as an Army prosecutor for most of his career and spent time in the U.S. Attorney’s Office’s homicide division. In recent years, he has established himself as a frequent legal expert with his cronies at NBC News and MSNBC and is an outspoken opponent of Trump.

On Saturday, he spoke on The Dean Obeidallah Show about the ongoing investigation into Trump’s potential interference in the Georgia race with host Dean Obeidallah.

Obeidallah, an ardent lefty, is among the most biased hosts on any platform, often peddling the latest “walls are closing in on Trump” malarkey.

There has been a criminal investigation into Trump’s alleged attempts to influence elected officials in Georgia, including the call in which he asked Secretary of State Brad Raffensperger to “find” enough votes for him to reverse Joe Biden’s victory in Georgia. It’s been ongoing since February 2021 under the direction of Fulton County District Attorney Fani Willis.

According to Kirschner, given the nature of the report, given prosecutor Fani Willis, he believes it’s inevitable that “the walls are closing in on Trump, once again.

Kirschner said that audio evidence implicates Donald Trump in a criminal act.

He said he’s presided over “press play trials” for RICO prosecutions that used wiretapped evidence. He said the Trump case is like when he’s had defendants on tape asking to buy guns and drugs. That is how sure he is that Trump is going to be arrested.

“… it’s a press play trial, and Trump will be indicted,” Kirschner said.

A court ordered the publication of portions of the Fulton County inquiry report last Thursday. After hearing extensive testimony from workers, experts, and State of Georgia employees and officials, the grand jury in Fulton County concluded “by unanimous vote” that there was no widespread voter fraud in Georgia during the 2020 election.

In response to Kirschner’s claims, a Trump official remarked, “Glenn is a known trafficker of outlandish conspiracy theories and poor legal analyses.
