Democrats Want Google To Blacklist Pregnancy Centers That Don’t Promote Abortion

( Pro-abortion criminal groups are attacking pregnancy centers, pro-life organizations, and churches across the country. They are outraged that the U.S. Supreme Court could overturn Roe v. Wade.

Despicably, in the wake of these terror acts, 21 congressional Democrats are requesting that Google’s parent company Alphabet ban search engine results for crisis pregnancy centers so that women will feel they have no choice but to seek services from establishments that promote murdering unborn children.

Democrats like Sens. Elizabeth Warren, Amy Klobuchar, Richard Blumenthal, Dianne Feinstein, Kirsten Gillibrand, and Bernie Sanders slammed life-affirming pregnancy centers as “fake clinics” that don’t deserve a spot in Google’s top results. These cretins said so in a letter sent to Alphabet CEO Sundar Pichai on June 17.

Many of these facilities offer free or discounted pregnancy tests, ultrasounds, and other care to needy women.

The Center for Countering Digital Hate, a foreign dark-money organization, recently asserted that in at least 13 states where abortion will be effectively outlawed if the U.S. Supreme Court overturns Roe v. Wade, 11% of search engine results for terms like “abortion near me” and “abortion pill” directed users to pregnancy centers. According to the same CCDH survey, pro-life clinics were the destination of 37% of Google Maps queries.

Democrats who signed the letter contend that such search engine results are “misleading” and may lead women to groups that support and aid in the survival of their unborn children.

How dare they!?!

With no shame or sense of irony, they see no problem with people who search for “planning parenthood” ending up at a clinic that gets paid to kill babies.

The letter claims that directing women to phony clinics that spread disinformation and don’t offer thorough medical care harms their health and compromises the reliability of Google’s search results.

Google has previously pledged to forbid and throttle pro-life adverts on its pages by doing its own “fact checks” of the sponsored content, as the senators and congressmen mentioned. Democrats demanded that the Big Tech company implement similar censorship measures for unsponsored pro-life content that might appear through its search engine. They also complained that the existing “disclaimers” slapped on top of the paid content are “easily missed” and have too small fonts.

Jane’s Revenge is an organization that has claimed responsibility for numerous firebombings and crimes against pregnancy centers, churches, and other pro-life facilities. They’ve threatened a violent “open season” against pro-lifers. This terror group has deep connections with the left.
