(PresidentialWire.com)- While CNN often twists itself into pretzels to make excuses for President Joe Biden, one reporter twisted and turned so abruptly, she just might have qualified for the US Gymnastics team.
Earlier this month, in an effort to shield Joe Biden from any responsibility for the skyrocketing gas prices, CNN Business’ Julia Horowitz penned an article explaining why Joe Biden can’t do anything about it.
In an article titled “Why Joe Biden can’t do much to ease gas prices,” Horowitz explained that the only thing Biden could do is release some of the Strategic Petroleum Reserve. And really, Horowitz explains, that won’t make much of a difference.
What Horowitz fails to mention, of course, is that Joe Biden could go back to issuing leases for gas and oil drilling on federal land. He could reinstate the Keystone Pipeline and rescind the regulations he’s imposed on the energy sector.
In other words, there is plenty President Biden could do that wouldn’t require releasing oil from the SPR.
And now for the double flip-flop pretzel twist.
Last Friday, not ten days after assuring CNN readers that Joe Biden can’t do anything about the high cost of gas, Julia Horowitz penned an article titled “Oil prices are finally falling. Thank China and Joe Biden.”
Really, Julia?
Suddenly now Joe Biden has the power to lower oil prices?
Isn’t that a kick in the head?
Then again, not really. CNN is quick to cover Biden’s failures by claiming he is powerless. But they will always find a way to give Joe Biden the credit for even the most modest good news.
Of course, this being Joe Biden, Julia makes him share the credit with the Communist Chinese Government.
And why does Julia think we should thank Biden?
Because he is releasing oil from the Strategic Petroleum Reserve. You know, the same scenario Julia just ten days earlier said wouldn’t make a damn bit of difference in gas prices.
