
(PresidentialWire.com)- United States District Judge David Carter, who was appointed by former President Bill Clinton, recently ruled that former President Donald Trump “more likely than not” broke the law and committed felony obstruction.
Because obviously, he would say that.
ABC News reported that Judge Carter ruled that Trump probably “attempted to obstruct the Joint Session of Congress on January 6, 2021” – but provided zero evidence to support the claim.
Not only did former President Donald Trump call for peaceful protests on January 6, but he told violent rioters to go home.
In a court filing, the ultra-partisan House Select Committee that claims to be investigating an “insurrection” on January 6 claimed that there is “evidence and information” available to the committee that “established a good-faith belief that Mr. Trump and others may have engaged in criminal and/or fraudulent acts.”
Good faith?
Where was the good faith when Republicans were trying to appoint legislators to the committee who disagreed with the controversial and partisan notion that former President Trump incited an insurrection?
House Speaker Nancy Pelosi made sure that every single member of the committee agreed with the notion that Trump incited an insurrection, only to then come to the conclusion that Trump… “incited an insurrection.”
