(PresidentialWire.com)- Democrat Senate Majority Leader Chuck Schumer is currently facing intense criticism for his complete silence about a wave of antisemitic attacks that have occurred on the streets of New York recently. The attacks took place in his own city as pro-Palestine (and pro-Hamas) protesters took to the streets to express their support for the bombing of Israel, and to show their opposition to the state of Israel’s efforts to defend itself, and attacked Jewish people in the process.
Scuffles occurred on the streets OF Manhattan On Thursday as pro-Israel and pro-Palestine protesters clashed. Pro-Palestine protesters purposely marched through 47th Street in Manhattan, which is a heavily Jewish neighborhood.
One pro-Palestine protester even set off fireworks directed at bystanders. According to a report from Breitbart, a 55-year-old woman was injured by the rockets.
Then, pro-Israel protesters were pummelled and beaten, while pro-Palestine demonstrators harassed people in a nearby restaurant and spat at diners who encouraged them to leave.
Fox News also reported that one Jewish man was chased through a parking lot by protesters who were waving Palestinian flags.
The vile attacks were of course promoted online as peaceful protests “condemning air strikes Israel conducted on Gaza and the killing of Palestinian children,” but the protesters (and the media) seemingly ignored the fact that Israel was and is defending itself against thousands of rocket attacks that have occurred in just the last few weeks.
Hundreds responding to a national call of action in solidarity with Palestine took to the streets earlier. Protestors marched through Manhattan condemning air strikes Israel conducted on Gaza and the killing of Palestinian children.

Is Israel…not allowed to defend itself?
Interestingly, Schumer has had a lot to say about racism lately. He proudly announced on Twitter that President Biden had signed into law the “COVID Hate Crimes Act” to “Stop Asian Hate.”
In another, he supported the January 6th Commission.
Of January 6th, GOP Senator Ron Johnson said: “by and large it was peaceful protests”
Some Republicans liken the mob to “normal tourists”
The Capitol was breached, and Capitol police officers were injured and killed!
This Senate will vote on the January 6th Commission. https://t.co/CwIwlNou7D

But he’s said absolutely nothing about antisemitism occurring on the streets of New York.
Why doesn’t he care about that?
