(Presidentialwire.com)- President Biden faced immediate backlash after he promised climate “reparations” to third-world countries that have allegedly been impacted by the burning of fossil fuels, according to Fox News.
Biden met with world leaders at the COP 27 climate conference in Sharm el-Sheikh, Egypt, when the United Nations voted on a package that would compensate poorer countries who have been victims of “extreme weather worsened by rich countries’ carbon pollution.”
“Outnumbered” co-host Emily Compagno called the decision “utter nonsense” referring to China being considered a “developing nation” and not having to contribute anything to the fund despite contributing two-thirds more emissions than the U.S. and Europe.
Fox Business’ Jackie DeAngelis lambasted the president’s climate initiatives that are already hurting Americans’ pockets.
Biden is reportedly preparing to spend $25 billion toward projects to put the country on a path to “nature-based solutions to address climate change.” The move comes in addition to the so-called Inflation Reduction Act, a $740 billion package that supports tax, health care, and climate programs.
Michele Tafoya, a former NFL sideline reporter, called China’s abstinence from the fund “embarrassing.” Compagno piled onto that saying that as the U.S. is racking up debt with the world, the interest from the debt with China is continuing to increase.
“I’m sure they are all laughing every day all day at us,” she said.
Former Vice President Al Gore also spoke at the COP27 climate conference, backing a satellite database being funded by him and Google’s nonprofit arm that tracks “individual emitters” of carbon dioxide and other greenhouse gases, according to a report from The Daily Caller.
The database will allegedly enable governments and international bodies to fill “critical knowledge gaps” using satellite imaging, remote sensors, and artificial intelligence.
Marc Morano, a critic of the coalition and publisher of Climate Depot, told Daily Caller that these efforts will monitor human activity and penalize them, adding that the intention is to control every aspect of industrial society to the point where “human prosperity and economic growth are evil.”
